OUR HOMESCHOOL WEEKLY WRAP UP ~ WEEK 10/4/10

Kindergarten: (5 yrs)
This week at Community Bible Study my 5 & 3 year old are learning about Abraham & Sarah, how God gave them Issac at an old age and how to trust in God. The had tents in their classrooms all set up for them too! Here is my 5 year olds craft.

Here are a few of our Mystery of History homeschool co-op & at home activities.
Ice Age, our group made greenhouses to demonstrate the climate before the flood, condensation formed ont he inside of the jar.
The kids @ the co-op were all given ice cubes to see how long they could hold them for - it was funny!
Last week Epic of Gilgamesh, I had him write out a few verses of the epic & draw a picture of what he thought the poem meant.
This week we are learning about Stonehenge, our co-op is today. I gave my son strips of construction paper and had him made his own Stonehenge.

Preschool: (38 months)
My 3 year old wants to cut with scissors everyday! I found this amazing workbook at the Dollar Tree called Begining Sequencing by the Learning Line. It has the cut outs that are your child glues in order of the story you read to them.
AND he's cutting by himself - we started out him cutting & me hold the paper but he can do it by himself now!

He gets air! Playing with Moon Sand

Tiny Tot School: (17 months)
My girl LOVES to play outside!
Here are some of her favorite outdoor activities ~ riding her car, climbing & sliding & best of all jumping in the trampoline which she just finally mastered how to jump this week!
