I decided to do something different with our rice sensory bin. I took out my container of buttons (different sizes & shapes) and took pictures of them, uploaded them to my computer, printed them off and put them in page protectors.
This can be played with younger children, just match up the buttons OR you can hide the buttons throughout the sensory bin and have them seach for them and then match them up.
They love their sensory bin!

this makes me itch - growing up at the beach, any more sand just makes me scratch. But what a fantastic idea for my 3yr old - who loves it! I am learning over the last 3 years homeschooling isn't about where I'm comfortable!!

A sensory bin is a great idea for hiding buttons and asking them to match! I love that sensory bins are also independant play as well as educational!

We love our sensory bin and I like to do I Spy things with it too. I've never done something simple like this. I'll have to try it. It's nice because you don't have to find something that works with the theme, buttons are the theme. :) Thanks for sharing it with us!
