And the LORD was gracious to Hannah; she gave birth to three sons and two daughters. 1 Samuel 2:21 (I am praying this prayer for my family - that God blesses us with baby #5)

APOLOGIA SWIM CREATURES --- HANDS ON (SEA URCHINS)
We recently had a field trip with our homeschool group to a nature center where the kids did a sea urchin lab. Everything was hands on.
I have a sea urchin skeleton among my "sea shell collection" we explored this week, and the kids thought it was fascinating. I'm jealous ya'll got to touch them. The aquarium we went to didn't let us touch the sea urchins.

Like the idea of Science Sunday! Pretty cool, I love hands on activities with the kids, great way to learn and actually remember!
We have a touch tank at the Aquarium that my kids love - even the 15 month old knows to touch the creatures with just one finger...
Science Oh how I loved it in school. Was my absolute fav subject. This looks like a fun project for your kiddos

My husband and I took my son to an Aquarium and he loved it, but they didn't get to touch the sea urchins. That is very cool!
I was reading this in the car this morning on my google reader.. I am almost 32 years old and had never seen one before. This is too cool!
Wow so cool. They look like they had tons of fun!

Love it! That is so great. I can't wait to take my girls to the New England Aquarium.
