I Love You More Than Chocolate is a touching book for preschoolers about a mother's love for her child. This book was originally a song, and inside the back cover of the book, is a CD of Miss Melanie singing the song. When Melanie would tuck her children into bed at night, she made sure they knew how much they were loved. She told them she loved them more than anything – even chocolate! Her children knew she was a chocoholic, so they had no doubt, they knew they were loved.

The moment I opened the package that this book was delivered in my 2 year old daughter all but ripped it out of my hands and wanted me to read it to her. When I read her this beautiful book she insists I read it several times. One time will not do. I am a very sentimental person - my children are one of the biggest parts of my life and words cannot express my love for them. This book demonstrates a mother's pure love for her child on a level only a mom can understand. Comparing our love for our children with chocolate makes it so that a child can understand the comparison because most children love chocolate. What a warm and heartfelt story. The words are cleverly rhyming, the illustrations are perfect for the story.
