My 2 year old and 4 year old had a ball with this, I placed all the paint cans on our refrigerator, took out all the magnet pieces inside the paint can and placed them in the box on the floor and had my 2 year old not only match the color pieces inside the corresponding paint can, as she did that she named the colors but she also was able to place them in the correct shape opening. This was good for thinking skills because the openings only had 1 piece per opening that the magnetic piece would fit into! What a great way for children to learn their colors, great for dexterity and thinking skills!
