Welcome to Mom's Quick Tips Thursdays! Each week I will either post or have a guest post have a Mom's Quick Tips to share with you! As a mom to 4 life is busy. I am always looking for ways to make life easier whether it be doing something quicker, easier or thrifty!

My Quick thrifty tip this week is all about Mom must haves in the car! I have a storage compartment in my mini van so I am able to store necessities in my car. As a mom with 4 children something can go wrong so I keep and recommend storing the following items in your car if you have little ones!
Besides the obvious - jumper cables, tires plugs, I store the following in my car.
Germ gel, tissues, plastic bags, first aid kit, umbrella and pad with pen.
Tote bag of clothes for my kids, with 4 kids I have at least one change of clothes in the bag for each of them.
A mini potty with bags that slide in it with toilet paper. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to pull over somewhere quick and pull this out for my children. When done I just take the bag out and toss.
My baby carriers I keep attached to my seat.
What do you have in your car for your kids needs? Leave a comment below and share!

I agree with you on all of these, and carry them all in the car. To your list I add paper towels, bottles of water/juice boxes, snacks, and toys. We have sugar issues in our family and I save a ton of money and time by always having some snacks on hand to keep blood sugar stable!
ReplyDeleteKids always mean bring a bunch of extra things along! :)
ReplyDeleteWe got a travel potty, it folds up flat and can slide under the seat out of the way. Best invention, surprisingly it was also cheaper than buying a small potty.
ReplyDeleteWe always have kleenex and wipes in the car! And DVDs
ReplyDeleteNow that my daughter is four, I only carry wipes!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post. I carry a shoe box sized container with extra short/underwear for the little one, bottles of water, snacks...just in case.
ReplyDeletethat is so cool. will keep that in mind once i get another car.
ReplyDeleteAMAZING the many things now stashed in our car bc of the little ones. We keep a lot of the same things, although included in there are a few snacks and some water bottles always on hand to be filled up wherever.
ReplyDeleteGenius to have the baby carriers attached to the seat! I always keep 2 cloth diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes for each child in a wetbag in the back. I also always have two buckets with shovels, two towels, and the stroller in the trunk at all times.
ReplyDeleteI keep none of that in the car with me LOL. Is this for travel or you do this for errands too? I've had 4 kids and the only thing I'd grab is the diaper bag with a few diapers, wipes, a change of clothes and my pocket book. Now that the kids are 6 and up, if they dont grab it, they dont need it. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI am a crazy person when it comes to my car. I hate any clutter and my kids know there is no eating in my car. I keep extra socks for the gym, tissues, napkins, nutri grain bars in case I forget snacks, and my cell phone charger.
ReplyDeleteIt all fits nicely in my center console and the car stays clean. Until my hisband drives my car and then I have a diet dr. pepper can or two in there.
Veronica - nope this is all the time. Never fails! For instance we went to a friends house and my boys played in her backyard and got filty, they had to take a shower there before all the boys were gross and I was glad I had those clothes in my car! You just never know!
