Hi everyone! I feel so blessed to be guesting posting here today! Thank you Nicole for having me! I would like to share with you some of what I've done with regards to organization and preparation for another homeschooling year...
This is going to be our fourth year homeschooling and our fifth year in this house. Finally, this year, I have put some time and energy in to organizing and preparing for the year. (We have a very small house and not a lot of money so I've struggled with these things...however, I am feeling good that I am overcoming those and moving forward to make our house a home where we can live and work comfortably within!)

Here is my file box for ds4 upcoming school year. We will be working on My Father's World K.
Here is ds15 two shelves of schoolwork for 10th grade (that's a lot of books!). He will be doing My Father's World Ancient History & Literature, Math-U-See Algebra, Apologia Biology and Rosetta Stone Spanish 1. Electives I've figured out so far are: Drivers Education, Typing and Art.

This is the first year we've used My Father's World so I am excited to see how it goes. Most of all I am REALLY EXCITED about the lesson plans that are already done for us!! (I've done them all the previous years.) Overall, I am actually feeling organized and prepared for this school year.

ReplyDeleteYou are brave. Sharing before pictures is always so "scary." I love that you are getting organized, I am sure it will help you have a smoother school year. I have never used My Father's World, I hope you enjoy it. My problem with things that are all planned out for me already is that I cannot leave them alone and must add to them. Good luck following their plans and not "putting your two cents in."

ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome. I love before and after pictures...often I don't feel like I've accomplished much when I'm done - until I look at the before pictures. Weird how that works.
