Our county fair is a big deal here, my husband takes off from work on opening day and our whole family goes and enjoys the day together. The last few years my son has enjoyed the Donut Burger which is you guessed it a hamburger with a donut on the top and a donut on the bottom instead of the buns. This is a huge treat for him because it's not typically something I would allow my kids to eat. I enjoy walking around seeing all the unique foods they offer: Red Velvet Funnel Cake, Fried Oreo's, Fried Twinkies and Sweet Potato Fries in a Waffle Cone with Marshmallow! So many goodies, you definitely could get a quick sugar high!

I'm not sure I would be sold on a donut burger, but that red velvet funny cake has my name all over it!
Unique foods as treats - awesome. Wholesome foods for sustenance.

I've never seen food like that at our county fair!!
Oh my, we tried fried Oreos for the first time last year! Totally looking forward to getting some this year, too!! LOL So bad considering I've been getting my family away from processed food but since this is a once a year treat, it's ok. ;)
Thank you for hosting WW. :)
I love the country fair!
YUM! We had some donut chicken sandwiches at our fair and they are AMAZING!
thanks for hosting!
What an idea! I'm honestly not sure if I could bring myself to eating the combination, but it's definitely cool, and I bet kids would especially love it.
Ugh, Not something I want to try. LOL!!!
As much as I love food at the fair, I don't know if I could handle a donut burger.
Thanks for linking up over at Tales of a Pee Dee Mama!
I wish our local fair wasn't so expensive I haven't been in years! Not since Johnny was little.
Love me some doughnuts!
Red Velvet Funnel Cake? That sounds delicious!
Thanks so much for hosting! Hope you are well.
:-)
That looks so good!
Oh my goodness that donut burger looks crazy~!
Icees...slushies, whatever they're called these days...my kids love to get them at the fair. :)
hahaha, that burger looks gross!
NOM! NOM! NOM! NOM!
What an interesting combination! I could see that being a great treat every now and then and wish we had one around here, I know my husband would love the Fried Oreo's!
OMG isn't it hilarious the things they offer to eat at the fair. It always smells so good but of course other than a treat, it's so bad!
I actually watched an episode from Paula Deen the other day where she made one of those! I have to say it looks pretty deluicious!
I've seen this on Paula Deen too. Not something I'd like to try, but I love my funnel cakes from fair!
I LOVE trying out all the crazy fair foods!! I'm not sure I could try a donut burger though. :-)
