Colors - Part 1

28 months

This week is all about COLORS

My husband made from Excel pie type chart which I turned into a color wheel, I printed it off black & white then with crayons I colored each pie area. I glued this on the back on cardboard so Jumping Bean is able to use the clothes pins. Then with clothes pins I  took sticker labels & colored them with the same colors as the color wheel, I used whatever solid clothes pins I had as well.

Jumping Bean decided he wanted to be Spiderman this week.

At 1st he had trouble with the hand motion but he knows the bird sign language sign so after reminding him of that he was able to open the clothes pins.

I saw this activity on Wilson ramblings, I laid down different color construction paper and then with a tray full of colored cars I had Jumping Bean match the cars to the matching color of paper. He especially LOVED doing this & plan on doing it again.

I seperated & put in piles the different colors of Lego's, Jumping Bean put them together buy color.

I cut out squares & jumping Bean & I made his own little color flip chart. Each color was done in a different medium. Marker, crayon, oil pastel, pen, glitter glue, bingo dobber, watercolor, acrylic paint, paper mache, color pencil. Then I hole punched it & put it together w/ a binder clip

  9. I was so totally amused by all of this because my little ones are always running around dressed as superheroes also. And we have the same Spiderman costume.
