We are having a short fun filled activity homeschool day. Today is our 1st day of our county fair, so we are going early afternoon.
Art / for fun
The shredding I had in the dishpan, I kept & decided the boys could make snowman I-spy.
Materials needed: empty clean & dry water bottle w/ top, shredded paper, cystalized stickers (I used winter type, then I stuck them together back to back), clear packing tape for the bottle cap, & a funnel.
We didn't fill the bottle too full or else you wouldn't be able to see the items inside.
The boys looking for their snowmen & snowflakes!
I took more shredding, put in a dishpan, I printed off 7 animals that live in the snow, I mixed them in the paper shredding (which was to represent snow), I had the boys look for the animals.
Then JJ did the weather match in My First Amazing Game Board Book (Board game book)
He matched the correct clothing to the particular outdoor element.
I love that book! How cute! See you later!
ReplyDeleteThis board book looks really fun - too bad I didn't know about it before. I like your shredded snow too :)
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying your blog. You have some really cute ideas.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the activities! It looks like all of you had a fun homeschool week!
ReplyDeleteI love your idea for Snowmen I spy. One of our favorite games is I spy, but Selena likes a broader approach, hidden things in pictures, or in the house.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun! Thanks for the link up.
ReplyDeleteI love the ideas with the shredded paper. The girls would LOVE the mess and enjoy hunting through the paper. I haven't embraced this game yet, but I might this week.
