As a homeschool mom/educator I was impressed with this book! The book has several great ways mankind can take care of our planet. As we read the book we enjoyed the how the book explained some of the beautiful features our planet offers us that too often we forget and take for granted. The illustrations are very whimsical they go perfect with each page! My oldest son will be 5 years old in a few weeks and I think this book was a great way to teach him ways to care for our planet on a child's level. After reading the book laid the 48 matching tiles on the floor and my son and I played the matching game which by the way he beat me at! After the game was completed we discussed the different tiles and what they meant. As we read the conserve energy tile he got up and turned off our kitchen light because we were in the livingroom! I would say this book and game made quite an impression on him! This book is a perfect book for your child to learn how we all need to Cherish Planet Earth!
