Awesome Bible Answers for Curious Kids
By Kathryn Slattery
Awesome Bible answers for curious kids!
If I Could Ask God Anything is a unique kid-friendly book jam-packed with clear, answers to important questions about God, faith, prayer, and Christianity in language that children can understand.
Questions such as:
•If God is invisible, how do I know He is real?
•Did Jesus live on Earth before or after the dinosaurs?
•Why should I go to church?
•When I die, do I become an angel with a halo and wings?
•How can the Holy Spirit help me?
•Does God stop loving me when I sin?
My son just turned 5 so he hasn't really asked me too many questions yet about God. So what I decided to do is go through the book pick up certain questions such as:
How Do I Get to Know Jesus?
What Are the Ten Commandments?
What's the Greatest Commandment?
Why is Taking Care of Our Planet Importnant to Christians? (Which I read to my homeschool group at our Earth Day Co-Op)
Can God Actually Talk to Me?
What I did was use these questions and answers that this book has as a daily devotional with my son. I think it really got him thinking about questions he is too young to ask, then it opened the door for me to elaborate.
Examples of what we did:
For What Are the Ten Commandments? I had my son repeat the Ten Commandments back to me using questions and answers.
Why is Taking Care of Our Planet Importnant to Christians? I read this page to my homeschool group at our Earth Day Co-Op
I would also recommend this book to adults that are not believers because it's so basic and not complicated. It's straight to the point! I will be using this book for years to come with my son and my other children. This book is a great way on a child's level to know and draw close to the Lord!
