Jumping Bean is 37 months
We are still focusing on our numbers, counting & recognition. Here are a few activities we did this week!
I took his mini dry erase board, wrote numbers 1-10 on the board & had him match the numbers and count them at the same time.
Using Confessions of a Homeschooler's printables, I printed off the clothes pin number match & glued into to cardboard. Instead of clothes pins we used our number bottle caps I made. He counted the dots & matched the number cap to the correct amount of dots.
Using the 1 to 10 Counting Cans, I poured all the fruit into one pile, had him match them up to the corresponding can and count them while putting them in.
Baby Cat is 16 months
I bought different foam shapes in the dollar area at Target, put them in a box & had her scoop them from box to box.

Great learning activities. Love the pictures of your baby's formation stage. So amazing how life grows inside of us from the moment of conception!

I love the idea of bottle caps instead of clothes pins. They are so much easier to use.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love the bottle cap idea! I have a ton of bottle caps that my in-laws have saved up for me for Tot School purposes and now I have another use for them! And I love the foam shapes! I was able to make a trip to my closest target this week and couldn't find them. (Your site is like the 5th I've seen that has them! haha) Praying everything continues to go well with your pregnancy :-) Blessings.
ReplyDeleteGreat job this week! He's really doing good with his numbers.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how much versatility those little foam target shapes have; I'm amazed at what I've seen totschoolers doing with them the last couple of weeks. Like Annette, I went looking for them recently. My Target had one sad little bag full, certainly not enough for a fun scooping activity like this one =)
