HOMEMADE PLAY-DOH LEARNING NUMBER MATS (RECONGNITION & PRE-WRITING)

My 3 year old loves to play with Play-Doh and we are still learning his numbers 0-10. We do matching, counting, etc. weekly till he gets it! So I printed off block numbers from printer projects. Then I copied & pasted them into Word, making them smaller so 2 would fit per page. Then placed them in clear sheet protectors. So when he played with Play-Doh today - he didn't even realize he was learning!

Since he really isn't writing - this is a good way for him to trace the numbers. It can be used by rolling out into "snakes" or ripping off pieces to fill in the numbers.

  2. I really like this for my 3 year old. I bet she would love it. And this just gave me a great idea for getting my blind daughter to learn her numbers, shapes and letters. Thanks!
