My heart breaks for my kids, yes at times they drive me crazy with their running around screaming but afterall they are kids - I would do anything to hear their laughter right now instead of their whines and coughes. I pray that God pours His mercy on my children, I would rather I feel terrible than them. This is the difficult part about being a mom!

So sorry you have sick babies. My son woke up with a fever and upset tummy this morning. It's so hard when you can't do anything to make them better. Hope they get to feeling better really soon!
ReplyDeleteNicole, praying for your little blessings and thanks for the reminder to cherish the screaming and running around...when most of the time I don't 8)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with it! I've been up the past two nights with my eight-year old daughter trying to get her 105 temp down to a reasonable level and trying hard not to panic. My son has a high threshold level, but my not has never had a fever this high. Luckily, it finally broke this morning, and I know she is doing better because she has been complaining and whining about not being able to play outside with her friends. Now it's my turn to get some much needed sleep. It's so tough when they're sick, isn't it?

I'm so sorry. It is tough watching your kids be sick. My 2 year old son had a 104.4 degree fever about a month ago and I was beside myself with worry. Pain relievers only brought it down to 103. It was a scary time. I will say a prayer for your little ones that everyone heals soon and you can find some peace.
ReplyDeleteI am praying that your babies are back to laughing and running wild very soon!
ReplyDeleteSending prayers for your little ones.
