We attend weekly Community Bible Study, the kids go to their own classroom's where they have Bible teaching accompanied by a craft while I go to my core group for Bible Study.
This week the topic for 3-6 year olds was Creation.
After the Bible lesson the kids made egg carton caterpillars!
Each week the kids are given memory verses that they learn all week then repeat back to their teachers - we are so blessed. JJ is learning & loves it!
Kindergarten:
We are still working on our botany lesson over the next few weeks doing some experiments - here is one of them. Taking a avacdo seet & propping it in water, in a few weeks it will split open & root & sprout. I will post our progress!
Preschool:
Jumping Bean loves to write circles, practicing on the dry erase board
Matching objects to mat - Learning Resources
Matching toy animals to the correct number card
Baby School (Toddler):
I placed a bin full of magnets for her to put up on the dry erase / magnetic board
Her 3 year old brother taught her how to stomp on the bubble wrap to pop them!

ReplyDeleteI have a "counting" bucket that I made for my 4yo. We bought a variety of small matching objects at the Dollar Store (a little set of 2 inch wooden bowling pins, a bag of plastic spiders, etc.) We can sit and count and sort and all kinds of things. I'm pretty sure we also have some number flash cards - I've never thought to combine the two together but that's a great idea! Thanks!
