(Can you tell my 5 year old took these pictures?) :)
I am in complete AW that I am 30 weeks pregnant already - time flies when you already have 3 children! I am trying the enjoy the final stretch of this pregnancy but filled with SO many emotions, as I cry as I post this --- yes it's probably hormones! This being our last baby - I am SO blessed but sad at the same time. This will be the last time I experience the beautiful blessing of being pregnant - the movements, the anticipation of seeing the baby for the first time, holding the baby, etc.
Our precious December baby's movements have become quite powerful - we say he's going to be a football player! My husband & I have come to a final agreement on his name, his 1st name is a Biblical name & my husband's real name for the middle name. For months we couldn't agree and now we call him by his name - reality check! I had my glucose test Saturday, praying that the results come back negative. When I go my prenatal check up next week I can't believe we will be walking next door to turn in all my hospital forms in & my birthing plan! WOW! Time is flying, this weekend I will be pulling out all our baby clothes & preparing for our new blessing! Some say, well your not due till 12/30, with 3 kids & homeschooling I try to do little at a time getting prepared. I can tell you one thing I am nesting BIG time!
Praise God for His abundant blessings!
Psalm 127:3-5 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth.
Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.
SO BLESSED TO HAVE A QUIVER FULL OF THEM!!!
Saying hello on Friendly Wednesday:) I am a new follower!

So happy for you. This sure is an exciting time isn't it. We had wanted to try one more time for a boy, but having just had a c section with Hannah and being told if we had any more it would be csection, I am too concerned to try again. So when you wrote about the emotions and being your last I felt for you.
ReplyDeleteMy last pregnancy went by super fast too! It was nice but sad at the same time. I loved the nesting phase! I got so much done and actually had the motivation to do it! LOL! Praying for a wonderful last couple months for you!
ReplyDeletewow so close! I loved being pregnant, I always felt a little sad near the end too.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! We are 35 weeks and I just marvel at where all that time went! I'm starting to get a bit anxious and ready to meet our little blessing. Praying you have a wonderful rest of your pregnancy.

SOOO exciting! I would imagine with 3 children already this pregnancy did fly, because how in the world do you have time to really sit and just think about being pregnant?!?!?!? :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the last few weeks! What a gift from God!
Im 30 Weeks also and due Jan 2. Our third child and first boy. My daughters are still in denial. Names have been a big topic here also as both our daughters have biblical names but we have had a family name picked out for its a boy. God bless these last couple of weeks for both of us
ReplyDeleteLove the pics! They are cute(: I know exactly how you feel! I had my third child 18 months ago and I remember thinking all those same thoughts your having now. I cried and cried...and sometimes even today I cry and have moments like that. Its a great blessing that God gave us as women to be able to feel a little angel inside you moving and knowing your the only one they know. To hold your baby the first time is a moment nobody but you and another mom understands...I also now think sometimes about the step we are on now where we are just being parents and teachers and not having babies, however secretly between me and God I sometimes pray He will change the hubbies heart and bless us with another angel...congrats on your 30 wk mark and cherish the moments...
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! You are looking great & doing so wonderful! I hear you on getting ready early - I will be doing the same thing sometime in the next few weeks - almost time to pull out those baby clothes & get sorting! I love the nesting phase, it's so fun to get so much done! I also understand the emotional side of this being the last pregnancy - it's so bittersweet -exciting to move onto the next "phase" of life with our children, but sad to be moving past the wonderful baby phase.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad things are going well though. I'll be praying for you!
How wonderful - and great photos by your 5 year old! Even though my children are grown up now, I can still remember vividly how each pregnancy felt absolutely miraculous.

Beautiful! We have 2 blessings and have decided no more unless God has other plans of course. I am sad knowing I am not going to have those experiences again. I will have to live vicariously through my sister who is 12 weeks pregnant! Congrats!
