MORE FALL ACTIVITIES -- HOMESCHOOL WEEKLY WRAP UP!

Let me 1st post a favorite picture of my kids from over the weekend. I bought this little organic baking pumpkin for my husband to bake us a homemade pumpkin pie & homemade bread (which was YUMMY!) My kids loved this little pumpkin. I can never seem to get a picture of all 3 of them looking in the same direction & I finally did -- here is our fall picture!

Our Pumpkin craft
Take small strips of cosntruction paper, using fasteners 1 at the top, 1 at the bottom, fasten all the strips of paper together, pull them apart (fan them), then you have a little pumpkin! My friend Kelly had these at her house - her kids made them but they were bigger. We did ours different, I had my kindergartner write fall words on each strip of paper and my 3 year old colored his strips. The fatter pumpkin was my 1 year olds & was the 1st one I made, didn't turn out right so I modified it. And then I cut out little leaves to add to the tops!

My husband also made homemade carmel apples - which were delicious! The boys 1st time eating carmel apples!

My preschooler helped daddy make the pumpkin pie

Here are a few file folders games I made my preschooler

I turned this into a file folder game, I printed it off leaf sorting.

Then I printed this file folder game. For both of these games I didn't drag out my laminating machine to laminate the pieces instead I used my thrifty way of glueing the pieces to cardboard (cereal boxes, etc.) then cutting them to size.

My Tot (18 months)

I gave her a papertowel roll and pom poms, she loved putting them through the tub & watching them come out the bottom. Here brother liked it too!

Check back next week for our Thanksgiving activities!

Thanks for "checking up" on me! :) Yep, we are getting closer - and you are getting SO close! I always try to remember that while this time always seems to creep by so slowly now, it won't be long before our new babes will be here and then it will have seemingly flown by like everything else.
Have a wonderful rest of the week! :)
