PREGNANCY UPDATE
1) Remember this post last month regarding my pregnancy update? Well today I have a prenatal check up, time to make the decision on what to do about what doctor to choose to do my c-section. Here is a little recap:
The doctor who delievered my last baby & who I have been seeing at every OB appointment with this pregnancy is going to be on vacaction when I will be having my c-section. So the 2 choices of doctors that are on call during that time are not particulary one's I would choose!
So I had my last appointment with my favorite doctor Friday, I asked her for her medical opinion on the other 2 doctors. We will see I see of of those doctors in 2 weeks -- that's right now my appointments jump from 1X a month to every 2 weeks! Noone can fill the doctor I want's shoes - she is awesome! I was hoping when I went in today that when I went in today that she cancelled her vacation - (I know sorry that is a bit selfish!) It's just this is my 4th c-section - makes me a bit concerned to just choose someone I really don't know!
2) I filled out all the hospital pre-registration forms this morning & turned them on-line today too!
3) I got my glucose test back -- praise God all came back good! I do not have gestational diabetes!
4) My urine same today says I am dehydrated -- guess it's time to drink more water, anyone else like me & hate drinking water?
5) The baby's heartbeat today was 148 when they used the dobbler. I love hearing his heartbeat, God gives such precious life!
6) My prenatal appointments are every 2 weeks now till next month then every week! WOW!
7) My next prenatal appointment hopefully they will be scheduling my c-section date!
8) WHAT REALLY WOWS ME IS THAT WE ARE HAVING A BABY NEXT MONTH -- 4 KIDS!

So..? Who did Dr. C say to choose? Sorry she doesn't wanna miss out on vaca for you. Who wouldn't?!? Can't believe he's coming next month already. Soooo excited for you! And envious, too! Love and miss you!

I'm on countdown too! I see the midwife this Thursday and am due exactly 3 weeks later on Thanksgiving. I can't believe it is nearly time to meet this little one. AhhH!

Oh, I'm really, really bad at drinking enough too. Have to sneak in those rehydrating energy drinks in now and again whilst telling the kids no, they're really bad for you!
ReplyDeleteHow about using 4 small bottles and a 'reward chart'? You don't have to go sticking stickers, but I find for me it helps if I can keep track and know how little I'm getting...
I'm going every 2 weeks too now, as if November and December aren't busy enough!
I think we're about the same "amount" pregnant - I'll be 30 weeks on Thursday with #5! So glad to hear that all is going well in your pregnancy too. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun to see updates from other preggo mom bloggers.... especially since we are due a week a part (if I remember right!). I was scared out of my mind having to do the 3 hour glucose test but it thankfully came back negative :) Do you get a urine test every visit? I have only had one in the beginning
