Montessori learning through board games! Sure it's nice to have Montessori brand type learning resources but since I quit my job when our 1st child was born, like most homeschool moms live on 1 income (husband's) so I try to teach my kids with what we have. We love board games in our home and have 2 large shelves full of games. So for Baby Cat I decided to teach her gross motor skills through some of our games!
Matching pieces of Zingo game tiles to the Zingo cards.
Placing checkers in the Connect Four Game
She LOVES to paint, she is painting with her new watercolor paints Papa brought home!
Hi Nicole! These are wonderful ideas. I do not have children, but a bunch of my friends have little ones. I'm passing this post onto them!! :)

I am a Montessori teacher, and that is what I love about the Montessori method! You teach and make lessons out of anything!
