We have always thought Heelys are cool in our home. My 6 year old son has enjoyed watching kids go from walking to sliding in their shoes. Now he has been given the opportunity to do the same!

To begin our skating endeavor we headed to the internet for How to skate instructions which was extremely helpful.
After watching the How to instructions we practiced in the livingroom on the carpet then went to the next step -- outside, with safety gear of coarse!
Like most things, practice makes perfect. It does take sometime to get the hang of how to skate. My son really enjoys skating in his Heelys. He wants to wear them everywhere! I would highly recommend wearing safety gear because it does take sometime to learn how to go from walking in Heelys to skating in them. I personally like the quality of this product, it is very well made so as a mom I feel comfortable with him wearing his Heelys and having fun doing so!
