SCRIPTURE FLOWERS CRAFT

Community Bible Study just started back up for us last week so the kids decided to make a nice little gift for each of their teachers.

We made Scripture Flowers. I got the basic idea from Christian Crafts for Gift Giving and then tweaked it a bit.

Materials needed:
foam sheets
magnet strips
pipe cleaners
glue
crayons
Scripture verse: 1 Corinthians 1:4 cut out in strips

We made the flower portion, cut them glued the pipe cleaner (flower steam) between the 2 tone flowers together. The glued the Scripture to the steam (using it as the flower petal) My littler ones colored them inlight colors. Then to accent the flowers we used our colored glue. Let it dry over the weekend. Then glued the magnets to the back (I used junk mail magnets that were glued to phone books that were on our phone books.

Now there teachers can place them on their refridgerators and everytime they see them can be reminded how thankful we are of them!
