DID YOU KNOW? GREAT NATURAL REMEDIES FOR KIDS COLDS!

I read this in a organic magazine (Greenwise) from my geocery store (Publix) and found it very interesting so I thought I would share it especially since cold and flu season will be here before you know it.

Natural remedies for soathing a child's aches and pains:
Stuffy nose? Pineapple works as a natural antihistamine!

Flu-related upset tummy, kids ages 2 + older can use ginger to calm the stomach or steep ginger in hot water with honey, cool before serving.

For head-aches make a cup of peppermint tea for kids (I would use caffine free) for kids 2 +.

I love natural remedies, especially using pineapple as a antihistamine!

Normally when my kids are sick I give them 1000 mg of vitamin C, elderberry and ACF.

What natural remedies do you use?

  2. I do chicken broth and the standard ole' lemon and honey for sore throat! I'm starting to use aromatherapy for stuff too, but I'm pretty new at it!
