SHOPPING AT WALMART WITH MY BOYS #GOURMETCREATIONS #CBIAS

After church on Sunday I needed to pick up a few things so with my 3 boys in tow (my husband home with our sick daughter), we headed to Walmart. My 4 year old son has been asking to ride his tricycle, the only bicycle helmets we own are a toddler one which doesn't fit him and a helmet my 6 year old uses.

After trying on several bicycle helmets we settled on a black one with fiery flames. I have to tell you that since we brought it home he even wears it around the house!

As a busy homeschool mom, with 4 children ages 6 and under I am always looking for a nice easy meal to make for my family. I admit it I do not like to cook, I am not good at it and I get bored of making the same things over and over. So It can't be complicated but does have to have nutritional value to it. Inside Walmart we stumbled across Hillshire Farm Gourmet Creations Sausage.  I thought to myself - this would be a great change - to make something different! They offer so many yummy choices but I decided to purchase 2 packages of Beef and Bacon with Monetary Cheese (I knew my children would enjoy it).

When shopping at Walmart I always find myself getting more than I went in for, too many great deals! So I grabbed a few 2 liter sodas for my husband that were on sale.

When I got home I wasn't sure how I was going to make the Hillshire Farm Gourmet Creations sausage. In my home I am famous for making "concoctions", I decided to use what I already had available in my home.

2 cloves of garlic
Vadilla onion
Rice and Beans
Frozen corn
Green Peppers
and now the Hillshire Farm sausage

While the rice and beans cooks I sauteed the green peppers, onion and garlic. Started cooking the Hillshire Farm sausage and as that cooked I had the corn cooking, once everything was completed I sliced up the sausage and tosses everything together in one pan and served it. My kids loved it, even my picky 2 year old had 3rds!
