We recently had a field trip with our homeschool group to a nature center where the kids did a sea urchin lab. Everything was hands on.

  2. We have a touch tank at the Aquarium that my kids love - even the 15 month old knows to touch the creatures with just one finger...

  9. I have a sea urchin skeleton among my "sea shell collection" we explored this week, and the kids thought it was fascinating. I'm jealous ya'll got to touch them. The aquarium we went to didn't let us touch the sea urchins.
