WHAT IS IN STORE FOR MAMA TO 4 BLESSINGS HOMESCHOOL YEAR?

What's Mama to 4 Blessings doing this 2012 homeschool year?

We have been more relaxed during the Christmas holiday, we will be starting back up our homeschool Wednesday 1/4. My husband has been home on vacation and we have enjoyed the Science Museum and tomorrow we will be enjoying our local zoo.

My preschooler will be starting a new curriculum that I am SUPER excited about: All About Reading Level Pre 1

This includes:
~ Teacher's Manual (208 pages)
~ Student Packet
~ My Book of Letters and Sounds Activity Book (192 pages)
~ Picture Cards
~ Letter Sound Cards
~ Capital Letter Alphabet Chart
~ Lowercase Letter Alphabet Chart
~ The Zigzag Zebra: a rhyming alphabet hardcover book
~ Lizard Lou: a collection of rhymes old and new hardcover book
~ Divider Cards (to keep your Picture Cards and Letter Sound Cards organized)
~ "Letter Sounds A to Z" CD-ROM
~ Ziggy the Zebra puppet
~ Activity Box to hold your student's learning cards
~ All About Reading tote bag to keep your components organized

Look at the awesome SAMPLE PAGES, this curriculum is a must have! No more searching around the Internet to find activities and printables to teach - it's all right in this curriculum!

I will have a full product review coming soon and a giveaway in about a month! Stay tuned.

CurrClick

Also all year long we use Currclick. With hundreds of unit studies to purchase and many for free to get right from home! Available to print immediately or save on your PC. We use this curriculum all year long. The prices are fantastic, many often for free. I love this site, many times when I can't find a unit study anywhere else I can rest assure Currclick will have it!

My 6 year old son enjoys playing Big Bible Town. He loves video games, this is a great way to reach out to children about the Gospel while having fun at the same time! BIG Bible Town is a kids’ online Bible game for K-6th grade children. Kids can start playing this online game for free. It is a great educational resource that taps video game playtime to teach Bible lessons and Christian values. It is a great tool for home faith formation or homeschool curriculum or for Christian educators to use in the classroom or children’s ministry. Big Bible Town is a Christian alternative to Club Penguin or other secular online games. Third Day Games is one of a small number of companies or developers focused solely on Christian video games.

  5. Big Bible Town sounds wonderful. My grandchildren are quite often here and I like to keep them entertained. My daughter and sil don't believe in the almighty because of questions they've had since graduating (our kids can't pray in school but they can be taught anti God.) It is for me to make sure my grandchildren believe and have faith.
