jcpenney Portrait Studios Value Package and Photo Taking Tips

My husband always teases me on how many pictures I take and how often I am unloading my camera. I am very sentimental and want to always capture every moment of my children's life on camera as much as possible. With 4 children and working on our 5th I have learned several things over the years when taking pictures or having our pictures taken as a family or just the kids.

First and foremost is patience! With 4 children it's always unpredictable. Most of the time it's impossible to get them all looking in the same direction as the camera, so using encouraging words and to your children while trying to capture the moment is a must. Kids are not going to cooperate if you are not patient and getting discouraged. Maybe take a 5 minute break and come back and try to take the photo's again.

(this is a picture that Jcpenney Portraits took of my daughter when she was a baby)
Next always have a back up plan on clothing. I typically like when my children's portraits are taken I like for them to be matching if possible but kids will be kids and accidents happen so bring changes of clothing to avoid any headaches. Have a backup outift(s) with you.

Take alot of pictures because out of several snapshots you are bound to have at least one good photo.

And lastly make sure you get photo's taken when your children are fed and have napped. Nothing like trying to get cranky kids to cooperate! From my experience that will not happen. So why aggravate your children and yourself?

As much as I enjoy taking pictures I am not that great at it. That is why it's best to go to a professional like jcpportrait Portrait Studio. From my experience provide quality shots with affordable prices.

jcpenney portrait studios is offering a fantastic package for the month of April. For $20, you can get 6 traditional portrait sheets and you can mix and match sizes and images, plus get one free $9 sitting fee. The great thing about this is that you can pick different images. There have been times where I have been on the fence on which photo shot to choose wanting more than one but the package does not allow that but not with this offer.

To take advantage of this promotion you can go HERE to find the nearest location near you.

Did you know that jcpenney Portraits has a Pinterest board? There you can find the amazing shots, styles and alot of inspiration! From maternity, wedding, family and much more!
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of jcpenney Portrait Studio. I was asked to create a Pinterest Board and pin at least five (5) pins. I give jcpenney the right to repin any or all images/original content from this board. I received a promotional item as a thanks for my participation.
