SUMMER FUN LINKY (SHARE YOUR KID FRIENDLY SUMMER CRAFTS, RECIPES, ACTIVITIES) SEE OUR SUN CRAFT

Wecolme to the Summer Fun Linky! Every Tuesday I will be hosting a linky for you to add your kid friendly summer recipes, crafts and activities!

Feel free to grab the Summer Fun Linky button and display it on your side bar or in your Summer Fun post!

It has been raining so much here in Florida, we have been indoors quite a bit and in doing so we made a sun craft which I saw on Pinterest.

Materials needed for the craft:
Yellow + black paint
Stapler
Yellow cardstock
Paper plates
Paint Brushes
Yarn or string
Tape

With the card stock make 7 triangles (these are the sun's rays), staple them to the front side of the paper plate.
Have your child paint the sun (backside of the plate)
Using the template the child can trace the sunglasses or freehand the sunglasses and then paint a mouth. Tape the yarn to the back of the sun and hang in your window! With all our rain here this is our sunshine!
For my daughter's we glued a small bow to her's because she is a "girl sun".
PLEASE do not put your blog name on the linky, use the title of what your post is - thanks!
