Out of all 4 of my children my baby now has had the hardest time teething. He has been very slow at getting his teeth in and still is missing quite a few of his baby teeth. He has gotten fevers when new teeth sprout through. He gets fussy and has even shown cold like symptoms when he's teething. At one point he sucked his thumb for quite awhile and then stopped cold turkey. What mostly has soothed him is nursing him. I look to products like this verses the medicines out on the market that are used for teething as when my oldest son was a baby I gave him one of these teething tablets and the side effects were horrible.
