I recently had the opportunity to see the pre-sreening Disney's new movie The Odd Life Of Timothy Green with my son.
“The Odd Life of Timothy Green,” an inspiring, magical story about a happily married couple, Cindy and Jim Green (Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton), who can’t wait to start a family but can only dream about what their child would be like. When young Timothy (CJ Adams) shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, Cindy and Jim—and their small town of Stanleyville—learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life’s greatest gifts.
This endearing movie not only touched my heart but my 7 year old's too! As a mom of 4 the movie reminded me how to appreciate each day I spend with my children, that in itself is a gift. Not only was the movie heartwarming but there were some funny portions of the movie as well. I found the movie relatable, when you want something so bad you can taste it, longing for it, it's in our grasp but yet you can't quite have it just yet. The movie had great teachable moments for childrem, how not to treat others how are "different". All who go see it will definitely walk away learning something new about themselves, awesome movie!

Cast: Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton, Dianne Wiest, CJ Adams, Rosemarie DeWitt, Ron Livingston, M. Emmet Walsh, Odeya Rush, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Lois Smith, with David Morse and Common
The film releases in U.S. theaters on tomorrow - August 15, 2012.
