GERM FREE HANDS ON THE SOCCER FIELD WITH WET ONES

The last few weeks my family has been sick with the flu. Even though I am a complete germaphobe once in a while I am too relaxed on cleaning my kids hands. I have learned my lesson and now insist on carrying my favorite product in my diaper bag that does a great job of getting my kids hands clean, killing 99.99% of germs --- Wet Ones!

We are a soccer family. Our two boys have practice once a week and each of our boys have a game on the weekend. Before each game each child who plays soccer their name is announced and they run through the high five line with parents, family, and friends giving them high fives before they go to the field to play their game. I think to myself all those hands giving my boys high fives? Gross! What hands gave them high fives were dirty or hand cold germs on them? So I carry my Wet Ones with me on the field and have my boys clean their hands immediately before playing their game.

So we do not have to miss soccer practices or soccer games, due to colds I find it essential to keep my kids hands clean by using Wet Ones. Wet Ones help prevent the spreading of bacteria and removes dirt. Much better then hand sanitizer gels and foams that tend to make a mess.

I love our Wet Ones on the field and off the field. For dirty hands, dirty faces, wiping noses, wiping off dirty shopping carts, door handles and I have even used them in place of a baby wipes for diaper changes! Great for anytime and anywhere. And who says you have to children to keep them in your purse or your car! Keeping the world around you grime free!

Wet Ones comes so 3 sizes for on the go or home for the car, diaper bags, purses, you name it!

40 count canister
15 count travel pack
24 count individually wrapped singles

Perfect for wiping noses, wiping off dirty shopping carts, door handles and more! Keeping the world around you grime free!

Dr. Benjamin Tanner, a microbiologist developed a few handy tips to keep you and your family healthy this cough and cold season:

~ Practice Good Hygiene for at Least a Week After a Cold. Cold viruses can be found in nasal secretions of children for two to three weeks after the onset of symptoms. That’s a long time for an unwanted guest to stick around!

~  Keep Your Immune System Healthy. Studies show that maintaining a healthy body weight with proper nutrition reduces risks of infection, and also may prevent inflammation (potentially damaging immune system hyperactivity).

~ Keep Up on Cold and Flu Germs. Colds are most infectious during the first two to four days people are infected. And you can’t outrun their germs: droplets from sneezes can travel at a velocity of 45 miles per hour and cover a distance of 10 feet. Wash your hands and face regularly; when soap and water is not available use Wet Ones® Antibacterial Hand Wipes to kill bacteria on your hands.

~ Don’t Touch Your Face. Most cold viruses are spread by contact with surfaces through "self-inoculation" when hands pick up cold viruses, and then touch the nose or eyes to start an infection. In fact, a study of kids showed that a program to discourage touching the face reduced colds by nearly half.

  6. Wet wipes are so handy to keep around. Especially as a mom with little ones and always on the go. I don't know how but even a short drive from our house to the store, by the time we get there, our kids are dirty. I swear we left the house clean! Kids...goodness! lol. But the wet wipes are very nice cause we can clean ourselves up before we go into the store, wipe down the cart to keep germs from transferring and they are just so handy and portable!
