GREEN GIANT HAS A SURPRISE FOR YOU! DELICIOUS VEGGIE CHIPS!

Have you heard the term growing like a weed? I have four children and its true! They often asks for snacks after lunch but I prefer healthier foods for snacks. If it were up to them it would be all cookies and candies but that is just not my style.

At lunch time they always ask for the same old same old; peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with pretzels or popcorn. Green Giant has a Giant Surprise: New Veggie Chips. After trying these new Green Giant Chips; my kids and I do not want anything else but Green Giant Chips to go with our sandwiches. I admit I didn't think my kids would like these chips because they are a much healthier option than greasy chips or popcorn.

Typically my kids know when I am trying to "pull the wool" over their eyes. So I gave them both the Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips Zesty Cheddar and the Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips with Sea Salt. I was amazed at their responses. They kept asking for more and more!

After they tried these new chips I asked them what they thought and they said that the Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips Zesty Cheddar tasted like a popular triangular chip that previously tasted.  This makes me happy because that chip is unhealthy and greasy. So as a mom looking out for her children I am thrilled they loves these chips.  I told them that these chips were made with healthier ingredients and they didn't believe me! They said they didn't care and they loved them! Now we can snack and not feel guilty!

Nutrional Facts:

The Green Giant™ Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips – Zesty Cheddar Flavor are made with real vegetables, 17 grams of whole grain per serving (48g are recommended daily), and are naturally flavored.

The Green Giant™ Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips – Sea Salt Flavor are made with real sweet potatoes and made with 14 grams of whole grain. Plus, they contains 40 percent less fat than regular potato chips*!

*Green Giant Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips (6g per 28g serving) have 40 percent less fat than regular potato chips (10g per 28g serving).

Even my daughter, who I call my junk food diva (if she had the choice it would be junk food all the time), she loved these chips! She has caught on when I try to sneak vegetables in her meals and then refuses to eat what I have made. Green Giant has done a wonderful job "disguising" vegetables in these delicious chips!

I found these chips light and crispy. Like some veggie chips they do not have an after taste. They are great to eat with sandwiches, as a snack or to serve at a party. The possibilities are endless!

You have to try these chips for yourself! Why not save .85 cents in your purchase? Green Giant is offering a printable coupon just for you!

  1. I love these chips! They have such a great flavor, but not a lot of grease and yuck about them. And my kids devour them!

  2. I will have to look for these the next time I'm out shopping. My girls love chips (they are true junk food divas), but this is the best of both worlds. I love when I fool them into thinking they're getting "junk food" but I know the snack is actually good for them!
