HEALTHY & DELICIOUS FOODS FOUND IN YOUR REFRIDGERATED DAIRY AISLES!

#sponsored This is a sponsored post written by Mama to 5 Blessings on behalf of National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association

We have certain staple foods in our home, a definite must have! As a big family we are on a weekly basis purchasing; milk, almond milk, eggs and cheese. I like to start my families day off with a healthy meal of the day and I feel that dairy products offer certain vitamins and minerals that cannot be found in other foods.

Our typical breakfast in our home is cereal which requires almond milk or I make bagels with cream cheese, scrambled eggs, pancakes or waffles. None of these items are useless without milk or eggs!

My kids enjoy helping me cook so I get them involved when possible. One of their favorite recipes they enjoy making are their own personal pizza's made with tortilla wraps, pasta sauce and shredded cheese. Simply spread some pasta sauce on a tortilla wrap, add shredded cheese and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes on 350! This is an healthy alternative to ordering a pizza!

I find that refrigerated foods found at the grocery store are not just farm grown but they add convenience for a busy mom of 5 but most importantly they offer a healthy balance to our diet. The refrigerated dairy aisles offers so many great ingredients that you can use in any meal of the day and even snacks in between like yogurt, cheese slices or pudding!

NFRA (National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association)  is a non-profit trade association that represents all areas of the frozen and refrigerated foods industry has paired up with chef and culinary expert Aida Mollenkamp to show Americans the creative dishes that one make using foods from the refrigerated dairy aisle. All throughout the year you can find culinary inspiration on the Dish Diary Tumblr which showcases creative recipes for any meal using foods from the refrigerated dairy aisle. Plus they invite you to share your own recipes! You can visit TheDishDiary Tumblr to upload photo's of your creative dish!

  7. Yum! We've done something similar but instead of sauce we used garlic mixed with olive oil, to make a garlic pizza.

  14. My kids will ONLY eat pizza if it is a little personalized pizza just for them. lol.

We love the freezer isles in the grocery store. we spend most of our shopping there. Fresh fruits, veggies and meats are the other half of our shopping.

  15. ashamed to admit it but we've never done personal pizzas but I've always wanted to do them. I agree though, not many breakfast items that don't take milk at least not with this family. I will have to try the tortilla wraps/pizza. Thank you for sharing. http://homemom3.com
