I wrote this post on behalf of Disney and their PR Company. I received pre-screening tickets to Lone Ranger 3 in exchange for an honest review. This is not a sponsored review and all views and opinions are of my own and were not influenced in anyway.
From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “The Lone Ranger,” a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.
Lone Ranger is an action comedy that is not the traditional "old school" Lone Ranger T.V. Show. This story is told from the point of view of an elderly Tonto; and explains the origin of the Lone Ranger and Tonto and how they teamed up. Due to the gun play and suggestive nature of some of the scenes this may not be as "family friendly" of a movie as some other Disney movies. The Lone Ranger is action packed with Tonto (Johnny Depp) adding his style of comedy to make this a very entertaining movie with many twists and turns throughout the entire film.
Lone Ranger is PG-13 and itopens in theatres on the big screen this Wednesday July 3rd 2013. For more information, visit Lone Ranger 3 on Facebook and/or Twitter.

ReplyDeleteI was able to attend a screening last week, too and loved the movie! I think my 16 year old was even more excited about it but who can blame her with Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer? ;)
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing mixed reviews, but I don't care. I'll see anything Johnny Depp is in and his sense of humor is awesome to me!
