We love chips & salsa in our home. I am not a real big fan of jar salsa. So I made my own. It's fresh, inexpensive to make and delicious!
Ingredients:
1 Full Size Tomato's
1/2 of a Large Red Onion
1 Can of Diced Tomato's (I use Hunts)
2 Cloves Minced Garlic
1/2 Teaspoon of Minced Cilantro
Mix it all together and Viola! you have a tasty homemade salsa! Definitely does not taste like the "jar stuff"! If you have leftovers (we typically do not in our home) place in an covered container and refrigerate. Since there are no preservatives in it I recommend eating it quickly.
