Lizard Eggs

I love homeschooling because you can turn anything into a lesson. The boys went in our backyard to play on their trampoline & I was one the phone with my dear friend & I looked down & I saw little eggs that had hatched. Then I saw 1 that didn't appear to be hatched. So i gently picked it up & was going to put it in a container so we could watch it hatch but when I did the egg on the bottom had a hole in it with a lizard skull in in - the boys thought this was neat! So I scooped it all up for our nature box & when time permits we will check it out under our magnifying glass.

For my son's 5th birthday we are going to get him a nice microscope so these will be nice to look under.
