Muffin Tin Monday - Red Theme

Muffin Tin Monday is a fun way to feed your child! Join in on the fun! Link up at Muffin Tin Monday!

This weeks theme is the color RED

Using our red heart muffin pan: Bagel Bites, Apple Slices w/ Yougurt for dipping sauce (w/ red candy sprinkled on the top). This was my boys' lunch.

Then we made strawberry Jell-o using our heart mold trays
My hubby & I shared this!
Yesterday for Valentine's Day I made this breakfast for my family (it wasn't red but I still wanted to share)
They loved this - I used cookie cutters for the cut outs
These pancakes were packed with stuff they didn't even know: strawberries, flax seeds & 2 different kinds of squash - my boys had more than 1 helping & they didn't even know they were eating veggies! I just threw in there whatever I had in my fridge!

THEN I WAS SOOOOOOO EXCITED TO FIND THESE AT TARGET OVER THE WEEKEND!
They are in the dollar section, I bought 2 packages of butterflies, 1 package of flowers & 1 package of the circles. They come 6 for $1.00! I was so thrilled especially since my baby will be 1 in April - I am going to make butterflies & flower cupcakes. Plus before you know it she will be doing the MTM!

  1. The red hearts all look great... and I love the (healthy!) pancake cut-outs too.

We picked up the same liners at our Target and I was dismayed to find out that several of each shape were ripped! I'll be taking them back and hoping there are still some packets left to exchange.

  4. Those look like darling ideas. I'm fascinated with the pancakes, though...how did you put squash in them? Lil Bits is kind of picky with her veggies and I would love to do it.

  16. I love to sneak veggies in to my family's food too. But I never considered pancakes as a potential hiding place for them.
And I will be checking my Target later today for those cute muffin liners.
Great tins too. Sprinkles make everything more fun.
Thanks for the great tips. =]
