Butterflies (New Life in Jesus) stART

Every Thursday A Mommy's Adventures does a really fun blog carnival every Thursday - read your child a story then accompany it with art!

This book is a fun and colorful 16-page book uses a story of one caterpillar's change into a butterfly to share the Gospel message with children.
For this week's craft to go with the story, we made handprint butterflies. Their hands were traced, they glued the butterflies together than with bingo dobbers they decorated them.

Left my preschooler's, right my toddler's

  10. Love handprinted butterflies - butterfly crafts are always a hit here (unless when daughter wants to shred butterfly foam shapes into a salad for her stuffed kitty :))

  21. You are a genius! I was pondering my upcoming weeks and when I saw this butterfly book I realized we have a copy of "Hermie, the Common Caterpillar" that I did not even have set aside for the butterfly week. Thanks for the reminder without realizing you were reminding me! ;) LOL! Also, I love all the butterfly crafts you have posted on your blog. Great ideas to use! Thanks!
