I recently received an opportunity to review some great Caillou toys for my children.

My Review:
The moment I took the Caillou Doll out of the box my daughter snatched it up. She carried it around with her, she even held it when she ate! I like that the clothing can be taken on and off, this teaches children fine motor skills. I also like that if the doll gets dirty and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

My Review:
My 3 and 23 month old both really enjoyed this toy. They didn't want to wait to take a bath to play with it, they sat on the kitchen floor and played with it instantly after taking it out of the box! The kids really enjoyed taking the pieces apart (Rexy's head and body snap apart and so does Caillou's head and body) than you can snap them back together again on the boat. The sail and the motor also snap off the boat and can be easitly put back togehter. The motor has a turn wind up so that the boat moves in the water. As a homeschool mom I love toys that teach motor skills - putting the pieces back together. Plus you can interchange the pieces for instance putting Rexy's head on Caillou making for creative play!

Caillou is a 4-year-old boy who delights in the small wonders of the world around him, embellishing everything he sees with his rich imagination. Designed for preschoolers, the Caillou television series is composed of 30 minute episodes divided into three 7 minute adventures. In each adventure, Caillou discovers the big, wide world, experiences new things, shares his imaginary adventures with us and sometimes, even sings for his little viewers!
