OUR HOMESCHOOL GRADUATION

Last week our homeschool group had a homeschool promotion / graduation gathering where parents and family came together to praise God and to encourage our children. I can't believe my oldest son will be starting 1st grade and my 2nd oldest son will be 4 next month! I am so blessed to be able to stay home and homeschool God's blessings. (The pictures above are their certificates)

The kids sang: The Fruit of Spirit Song, No Superman and Grace Flows Down.

I had the privledge of making the signs for the kids to hold up for the Fruit of the Spirit Song

Our guest speaker was awesome, Rick Andreassen who is the founder of The Christian Homeschool Athletic Association. He actually got to hold the Olympic torch in the 2002 games. My oldest is holding the torch! He gave all the kids metals and encouraged them to go out and share Jesus.

Can't forget about my daughter, she wanted so badly to get up on the stage with the kids, she had her chance at the very end when the kids cleared off, she bolted up there!
 My sweet "little" family!

What a great time and ecouragement! Thank you to my dear friend April for being such a awesome group leader and encourager. For having the BIGGEST heart I know. You are a blessing to my family and we love you! Thank you for all your hard work throughout the year and for putting on the homeschool graduation for our children. Thank you to Kelly who has been blessed with a beautiful gift of music. Thank you for working with our children, teaching them about music and most of all for your patience! The kids did a great job singing - thanks to you! You are a huge blessing! Thank you for sharing your gift!

  1. I love that there are still parents out there encouraging their children to love Jesus and follow him. Sometimes I feel like we are the only family <3

  2. That is so neat!! It's important for kids to see the end of all their hard work. Since we're not involved in a group and school all year through the twins don't really know when it's over. One asked me the other day if she was a 2nd grader yet. I was like "Yeah. Sure. You're in 2nd grade..." :)
