I got this book from the library - I Love to Paint. Weekly we will be doing a art lesson from this book. The 1st art project was blowing paint.
Materials needed:
thick paper (I used card stock)
straws
paint (I used watered down tempera paint)
a place you do not mind messes (we did ours on our back patio)
We would pour what color paint on the paper the kids wanted
Blow the paint thru the straw to make different patterns/designs
Viola! Their masterpieces! I had intended on doing this with my 2 year old as well but then I decided that she wasn't ready for it just yet - soon though!
Linking up at Living Montessori, 1plus1plus1equals1, Homeschool Creations and Weird Unsocialized Homeschoolers this week!
