COUPONING TO BLESS SOMEONE IN NEED! #Cbias #AllYouCFK

Couponing! One of my favorite words! Even before we were a family of 6 I couponed, saving money for my family. But until recently I never considered couponing to help someone else! How you ask? There are several ways; use your coupons, match the coupons with sale items and donate the items to someone in need or with the money you save on couponing for your family you can take that money and purchase items for someone in need, donating your coupons is another way to help! Whatever route you take couponing is an awesome way to help someone in need!

I recently had to opportunity to participate in Champion For Kids - All You Couponing Campaign.  I get my coupons from several resources but I kept hearing about a magazine called All You that has a bunch of awesome coupons inside the magazine! I was thrilled when my husband got me the subscription to the magazine because it gave me coupons that I couldn't find anywhere else.
I really started thinking about how I can bless someone in my community with my couponing? My heart was touched when I heard that one of my homeschool mom friends of 5 and in the process of adopting a child from Africa husband had lost his job.  So with my coupon binder in tow I headed to Walmart to use my coupons to purchase items for her family.

Getting some fantastic deals! .50 cents off soup when you buy 2 cans! The vegetables were .98 cents each and when I bought 5 cans I saved a $1.00!

Or how about whole grain Chef Boyardee priced at .98 cents and with a .50 cents coupon I paid less than .50 a can! How awesome is that?!

In my experience alot of people I have spoke to about couponing say it's too much work. It's worth the time and effort to help someone in need plus it's a bonus for my family to save and stock up on items that are great prices using coupons.

My children and I dropped these items off to my friend and her family after my son's Karate on Sunday. Unfortunately I hit her neighbors mailbox backing out of her drive away! All in all my friend was super thankful for the blessing for her and her family. I was truly blessed to be able to help my friend and her family out. Praying for her husband to get a job.

Want to help someone in need by couponing? Gather your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to participate in an All You Couponing For Good project! Use your couponing skills to find great deals on clothes, food, hygiene products, school supplies, books, and games for children. Pick up these extra items at a discount or buy-one-get-one-free. Give the items to an organization in your community that serves children (like a school, religious organization, or nonprofit). You can send your report and photo's to Champion For Kids.

So who can you help with your couponing?

  6. I use coupons to purchase items to donate to my local food bank. I love that I can help others without going broke when I use coupons. I also request tons of samples and add them to our donations. I feel that I have a responsibility to help others, and couponing makes it possible!

  8. I am sure that your contributions to those in need are very much appreciative for the extra help in their time of need. The CHAMPION FOR KIDS program should be recognized in all communities; as it is not only a worthy cause but also one that practically every working household could support. God Bless you for your kindness and consideration of others in need.

  9. This is a great idea! I love couponing and need to get back into it better. There are many coupons that I don't personally use for my family, but I could buy the items and donate them. Thanks for sharing!
