A PRODUCT EVERY HOME SHOULD HAVE - 20 MULE TEAM BORAX REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

I wrote this post on behalf of 20 Mule Team Borax. I received 20 Mule Team Borax in exchange for an honest review. This is not a sponsored review and all views and opinions are of my own and were not influenced in anyway.

Ever since I can remember my mom used 20 Mule Team Borax in our home to clean with. When I was roughly 6 years old we found a tiny kitten on the side of the street and I begged her if we could take it home. We did but the poor thing was smothered in fleas which meant when we brought her home unfortunately the fleas wound up in our carpet. So my mom sprinkled the 20 Mule Team Borax on the carpet let it sit and then vacuumed it up, the 20 Mule Team Borax smothered the fleas and killed them - the fleas were gone and we never had another problem!

Now as a mom to 5 little ones I need a product to take care of all my household cleaning needs. So like my mom I use 20 Mule Team Borax!

Why do I like 20 Mule Team Borax so much?
~ It is not only a detergent booster but it is a multi-purpose household cleaner too!
~ It is 100% natural, and 99.5% pure (there is about a half of 1% of naturally occurring trace minerals). Once removed from the ground it is washed, dried, and boxed for consumers.
~ It can be used to soak and wash diapers and other laundry.
Absolutely nothing is added to this product. No phosphates, per-oxside, chlorine, or other additive chemicals.

My kids love watermelon but it leaves nasty stains on clothing. While my 2 year old enjoyed his juicy watermelon he wore quite a bit of the juice on his shorts. So I soaked the shorts in the sink in warm water plus I added 20 Mule Team Borax to the water and let it soak for about a half an hour and then washed the shorts and the stain was gone!

I also use it in my toilets and in my drain in the kitchen sink. I drizzle a bit in my toilets use the toilet brush to clean the toilet, leave the 20 Mule Team Borax in the toilet for about 30 minutes to soak and the outcome is a sparkling clean toilet!  With boys using the toilet it gets messy and this product cleans AND eliminates all odors!

You can also use it to eliminate any odors in your sink drains too! Sprinkle in the drain and let sit for about 15 minutes then run water to clear the product out.

The possibilities are endless:
Use in your laundry wash as a booster.
Clean your bathtub, shower or sinks.
Clean stains on rugs or carpet.
Use in dishwasher.
Use for Science experiments with your kids (grow crystals or make goo)

20 Mule Team Borax can be found at your local retailer.

  3. This may sound silly, but my sincere thanks for this review. I've heard the term Borax several times, but had no clue what it was. (My mother uses Clorox as her all time cleaning solution.) I really appreciate the explanation about the product and all of the uses. I might just have to go and pick some up next time I go to the store. Watermelon stains drive me crazy too! :)
