Three Cups (book) is a great resource to use to teach children how to save, spend and be charitable with money is as easy as one, two, three.
All parents want to teach their children good money habits from an early age. Many start by giving them an allowance. But it's equally important to teach children a positive, generous attitude as they learn to use money responsibly. Filled with warm, memorable illustrations by award-winning painter, April Willy, Three Cups is the story of one family's unique and effective method of teaching personal financial management-and how one boy reaped first the small, then the immeasurably great rewards of the lessons he learned.
Families will be delighted with the heart-warming tale and want to integrate the three-cup system in their own children's lives.

My Review: I SO love this book not only is it perfect to incorporate into our math lesson for homeschooling but I love the idea of having 3 cups for my oldest son. The book teaches not only character building but teaches the value of a dollar. Taking 3 cups, 1 for saving, 1 for spending and 1 for charity and teaching children how to manage money. We recently started giving our 6 year old an allowance for his chores, having 3 cups is a perfect way for him to not only learn how to save money but it will also teach him how to give as well. Our cups will be labeled saving, spending, tithing. So what he earns a percentage will go in each cup. This book is very encouraging for children and very enjoyable! My son really enjoyed it!
