AMERICA IS.... 4TH OF JULY CRAFT

With 4th of July approaching I wanted to do something fun with my kids. I read them America is......
America Is...

What a beautiful book, I actually cried reading it to them.

Afterwards I took star, United States, flag cookie cutters and a top to the laundary detergent that had a spiral pattern and had them dip them in red and blue tempra paint and press the Patriotic cookie cutters on cardstock.

See the spiral pattern I thought it would look like fireworks once they pressed in paint and stamped on the paper. I have been holding a few of these laundary tops for months trying to figure out what we would use them for because of the cool pattern.

My 3 year old daughter went to town a little bit more than my boys did with this craft but she loves arts and crafts!

This is her artwork.

  14. We use cookie cutters for paint at playgroup, it's fun. My girls are art nuts and spend way more time than other kids at school and playgroup doing art.
