Welcome to Mom's Quick Tips Thursdays! Each week I will either post or have a guest post have a Mom's Quick Tips to share with you! As a mom to 4 (and trying for our 5th) life is busy. I am always looking for ways to make life easier whether it be doing something quicker, easier or thrifty!
He is a one of my Mom's Quick Tips this week!
We love Mango's in our home, our Pastor's wife just gave us a bag full of them from the tree in their backyard and we have been using them in our smoothies.
If you have never had a mango before, it has a huge pit in the center which makes it a bit difficult to cut up. I never knew how to cut them up until now, here's how to cut one up without waste!
If you have never had a mango before, it has a huge pit in the center which makes it a bit difficult to cut up. I never knew how to cut them up until now, here's how to cut one up without waste!
Use a sharp knife, cute the mango in half, avoiding the big pit in the center (cut around the pit)
Then the 2 half pieces slice in rows
Then cut the rows in the other direction making square shape sizes in rows.
Then take the mango and pull downwards which will allow the square pieces to pop up.
Then take a large spoon and scoope out and ready to eat!
