We homeschool all year long with just a bit of a lighter schedule during the summer. We will be mostly focusing on reading this summer, handwriting (my son will be starting cursive) and science. I want to incorporate some really fun activities for my kids this summer into not just learning but just to be silly and enjoy ourselves.
Here is my "bucket list" to do with my kids.

Oh, good idea! I should put together a list like this for the summer, too.
ReplyDeleteWell this list put me to shame. I have only a few things planned. I do not have them sectioned out like that, but do plan on taking my son to Orlando and trying to fit alot of things into 5 days. Wish me luck!

ReplyDeleteExcellent list! I love that you have "Wash my minivan " under "Outside Water Play"...tasks like this can be family fun time!
ReplyDeleteWe're also going to try to find a drive-in theater, visit a farmers market and paint t-shirts.
I also love that you include "Make a homeless bag stash to keep in the car". I have an extra box of granola bars sitting in the cabinet and a few extra bottles of water so now I know what to do with them. :)
