As a homeschool mom I am always looking for resources to incorporate into our daily homeschooling. Prior to homeschooling I was told by seasoned homeschoolers that it wasn't going to be easy and they were right. The opportunity to be able to find really good resources can be challenging. Schoohouseteachers.com is a fantastic resource for homeschool parents. I was blown away by all the incredible resources they offer.

Schoolhouseteachers.com  a division of (The Old Schoolhouse Magainze) provides over 25 different school related subjected through teaching videos, ongoing lesson plans, worksheets, lapbooks & unit studies, writing prompts and other assignments to choose from, students can also  interact personally with the teachers by asking them questions and gaining feedback.

How did I find Schoolhouseteachers.com helpful in our homeschooling? The Dailies! Dailies have almost every subject you could image for preschool, elementary up to high school age students. With lessons you can print off weekly! We currently use a Language curriculum but we needed something else in addition so I gave the Dailies Grammar a try. We started off with with Nouns and Subjects last week then at the end of the week I printed off the review lesson. Surprisingly our current Language curriculum doesn't go over these topics which I find useful in second grade.

This week we are doing a review of Capitalization, Synonyms and Antonyms. My son has really enjoyed adding this grammar resource into our daily schooling. The best thing for me as the mom and the teacher is everything is laid out for me all I have to do is print the sheets and teach the lesson to my son! You can start your school year off by printing from the achieve of topics available too! So if your new school year starts in August you can click on the August tab and start that at the beginning of your school year! Each month Schoolhouseteachers.com adds a new lesson for a new month so there is never an scurrying for new material!

Another one of my other favorite places to go on Schoolhouseteachers.com is their on-line library. It's filled with awesome goodies. The Craft Shelf is my particularly favorite. Each month they have new craft suggestion which is right up my alley because we love to incorporate fun filled crafts into our homeschooling!

I admit it I do not really like to cook. Many times I am at a loss what to make and I get bored making the same things week after week. This is where the Monthly Menu becomes my best friends. It's laid out by dates and they even have achieves too! Plus you can even add your own recipes to the board too! As a mom with four children and another due in April I so needed this!

Schoolhouseteachers.com is filled with treasures for your classroom from e-books, printable daily lessons, menu planing, music lessons, history and much more! Plus since it's geared to all ages it's perfect for homeschoolers with children multiple ages like my family!
