SCHOOL ZONE PEEK-A-BOOK PRESCHOOL CARDS

School Zone connects with kids and where they are. Software and downloads, workbooks and flash cards--that are crafted through a child’s eyes, while integrating parent/teacher standards of precision and accountability. In every detail, innovation meets imagination and timeless tradition

Imagine, explore, and discover. These wonderfully brightly colored peek through the cut-out, and read the catchy rhyme. The Peek-a-Boo Preschool pop-up flash cards have been designed to stimulate multiple senses, a great way to sustain attention and accommodate different learning styles. Fun friendly scenes bustle with activity. First start with the printed question that asks child to count. What is the answer? It’s under the pop-up picture!

These fantastic cards promote:
Reading Readiness & Word Recognition – Make up new silly rhymes for each card. Little fingers can trace & count while number is said aloud.
Thinking Skills – Ask children additional questions. Where is the walrus? What is an igloo? What noise does a seal make?
Vocabulary – Point to various pictures so kids can practice naming animals and objects.

We have the traditional numbers, shapes, colors and alphabet preschool flash cards that I have used with my children in the past but they tend to be boring for my children. My daughter loves the brightly colored cards and how interactive they are. There is something for her to do on each card. As a homeschool mom I enjoy products as this that are great teaching tools which keep children's interest. All the flaps that you open on each card were a hit, as I read her the question and then she would anxiously await to open the flap to see if she answered the question correctly. I love how portable these are too, I can toss them in my bag and learn on the go!

  1. Thank you I needed something for my preschooler. She seems to get left out when I am done working with her sister!

  2. These would be perfect for my kids! So cute and handy. With big brother starting Kindergarten in the Fall these would probably make my middle child feel special. She really wants to learn. Thanks for sharing this product!

  3. Flashcards have sure come a long way from when my Dad used them to get me to learn arithmetic! I must say they look more fun now--but even way back then--flashcards work!

  6. I need those for my preschool class! They love flash cards. I don't get the people who say flash cards aren't good for kids. I mean if they hated them, we wouldn't do them, of course, but they love them. They'd go nuts over these.

  7. I would have loved to have had those when I was homeschooling my children in the preschool years! Products like this were scarce when I first started homeschooling back in 1987.
