WE HAVE MADE THE SWITCH TO I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT BUTTER!

#sponsored This is a sponsored post written by Mama to 5 Blessings on behalf of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!

I am always looking for healthier alternatives for my family. It can be hard at times because with 5 kids, homeschooling and taking care of the daily chores life is busy. Sometimes trying to just put something together quickly because at the end of the day I am so tired but I want to change some of our eating habits and/of ingredients I have found a better alternative to butter. I Can't Believe it's Not Butter!

I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! It is a healthy alternative to than using fatty butter. Made with 70% less saturated fat and 30% fewer calories than butter. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! soft spreads contain no cholesterol or hydrogenated oils, so there's 0g trans fat per serving.

A few weeks back I posted a recipe I made my family for dinner - Chicken Marsala. Instead of using butter I decided to use I Can't Believe it's Not Butter! instead and I was amaze how nice and creamy the sauce turned out! You can view my You-Tube Video below on a step by step tutorial on how to make my Chicken Marsala.

I decided to put my family to the test............... I made homemade chocolate chip cookies using I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! verses regular butter.

Ingredients:
2 sticks of I Can't Believe It's Not butter!
2 1/4 cups of flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cups of sugar
3/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
2 cups of chocolate chips

Mix all the ingredients together for until everything is fully blended. Then bake for 9 to 11 minutes on 350 degrees.

The cookies turned out soft and moist. My family had not clue that I had switched out the butter and used I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! From now on we are using I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! I love how they offer it in stick form which is great for cooking and baking and in tub form which is softer great for smearing on toast, pancakes and waffles!

  9. I have to say that I'm pretty skeptical of products when I can't find their ingredient list on their website, which seems to be the case for this product. I do see that it contains soybean oil, which is highly GMO-based, so that alone makes me want to stick with butter.
